Dear Friends,

The 13^th World University Taekwondo Championship will be held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia,China during 8-14 June, 2014. On behalf of the organizer of the championship, I would like to express our sincere thanks and warm welcome to all delegation members, technical officials and guests from around the world.

As an important international taekwondo competition of the highest level among universities, the World University Taekwondo championship plays an important role in developing university taekwondo. The International University Sports Federation (FISU) has decided to list taekwondo as one of the events in the summer universiade, which makes the taekwondo championship held in Hohhot will be the last one in the FISU’s history. We are honored to organize this championship. Presently, we are trying to proceed the preparation work and we will do our utmost to strengthen the friendship and communication among the world’s young people and to provide the best possible facilities and services, so as to contribute to the development of taekwondo sports, and to the establishment of a united, friendly, healthy and harmonious world.

We are confident that the 13^th World University Taekwondo Championship will be successful and inspiring under the joint efforts of everyone involved.
