On June 12, the preliminaries, semi-finals and finals of Men’s 87kg, 74kg, and Women’s 73kg, 62kg category were completed.
On the competition venue of Men’s 74kg, France and China were competing. Mickael Munier from France got injured on his ankle. The medical personnel took immediate treatment for him, and he finished the competition. 
Korea got gold medal in Men’s 74 kg, Thailand won the silver, China and United States of America were tied for the bronze medal.   
Sabit Bugrahan Karakas from Turkey got the gold medal in Men’s 87 kg, Hohamed Ayman from Egypt got the silver, Cyprus and Poland were tied for the bronze medal.

In Women’s 73kg, Li Hailing from China beat Turkey competitor with a strong reverse kick and won the champion. Brazil and Korea were tied for the bronze medal.
 Li Hailing was interviewed by the journalist immediately after the competition. She said that she was pressured before the competition and she was excited about the championship and the support from her teammates.  Her teammates jumped for joy and excitement for China’s achievement, which left people the charm of Taekwondo and sportsmanship.

Pei Ying Wu from Chinese Taipei got the gold medal in Women’s 62kg, Xue Yanhong from China took the silver medal and competitors from Thailand and Spain were tied for the bronze medal.
