On the championship venue, volunteers of university students presented a beautiful scene with their youth, energy and vitality. While the four volunteers from Africa were special.
Sophie, a 23-year girl from Cote d'Ivoire, is studying languages in Hongde College of Inner Mongolia Normal University. She was skilled in Chinese, English and French. She told the journalist that, "I've been in Hohhot for more than one year and really hope to go home next year. I feel very good here, for the people are hospitable and ready to help me. As for being a volunteer in the championship, I love my job and I'm very happy that I can contribute to the event using my knowledge. I don't know much about Taekwondo, for football is the most popular sport in my country. The children are crazy about football and we have our hero Drogba. I don't know how many people play Taekwondo in our country. I'm competent being the English interpreter and my Chinese is good as well."
