The coaches and athletes from all over the world have been in Hohhot for five days. They have built good relationships with the OC staff members and volunteers. They are interested in talking with the journalists and volunteers.
Salim Mrhoon from Oman said, “I like China very much, and I have been to the Great Wall. This is the first time I have been in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, and I feel the people here are friendly. ” He also thought highly of the level of Taekwondo performance of other countries like Brazil, Poland and United States of America. He would try his best to compete against his rivals. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of friendship and his hope that he will come to China more often in future.
Jessica Wiryawan, an American girl said that she could not sleep well when she firstly arrived in Hohhot because of jet lag. But now she can sleep well just like a baby and she really likes Inner Mongolian food but she is also missing American hamburger.
The athletes from Chinese Taipei are not used to the climate here, so they keep water spray with them to keep their body moist.
