She says, “I am tired but excited after the competition. When recollecting the competing process, I feel that I was impulsive at times and I need to summarize the good points and bad points as well later on. The competition result is the best presentation of the everyday training, and I’m also thankful for my coach and teammates.”
This young girl from Chifeng city of Inner Mongolia is optimistic and passionate, and she is often standing out from a group of people due to her 1.83-meter height.
She went to Hohhot from her hometown in 2006 and began her training in the event of throwing. Two years later, she changed into Taekwondo, for her fitness coach thought she was naturally qualified for Taekwondo.
Speaking of her advantages in Taekwondo, she mentiones about her height, long legs, slim figure and muscle quality, which are the appropriate qualities in terms of Taekwondo. However, she thinks that the most important factor of Taekwondo is interest, as the saying goes, “Interest is the best teacher.”
When it comes to her aim in future, she says, “I would like to make down-to-earth efforts. I have not set any long-term goal yet. Let it be.”
Her coach Bao Gang was satisfied with the girl’s performance and sportsmanship.
Li Hailing’s success stems from her quality of never giving up, as shown in her motto, “I will make down-to-earth efforts and feel thankful to any support for me.”
